**Job Title: Residential Sales Associate**

**Position Overview:**

As a Residential Sales Associate, you will engage with prospective homeowners to understand their painting needs, provide accurate estimates, and foster long-term customer relationships. You will conduct client consultations, create detailed proposals, and ensure our painting team is set up for success. This role includes comprehensive training provided by the company over a period of six months to one year, with a competitive salary plus commissions during the training phase, transitioning to commission-only thereafter.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct on-site and remote consultations with customers to discuss their painting projects.
- Develop customized and detailed proposals tailored to each customer's specific needs.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers and ensure diligent follow-up.
- Document all activities in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Prepare weekly performance analyses to support goal setting and reviews with your coach or mentor.
- Ensure clear communication of customer needs and expectations in written proposals.
- Keep appointment availability open for potential customers while striving to meet sales goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Office Associate, Production Associate, and Job Site Supervisor to ensure all project expectations are met.
- While the primary focus is on residential clients, some commercial work may also be involved.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

- A 2-year degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in customer sales and/or estimation services is preferred.
- A proven track record as a top performer is a plus.
- A history of accomplishments and promotions in previous roles.
- Familiarity with interior and exterior paints, coatings, and construction is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is helpful.
