About the Role & Team

Comprised of Disney’s international media businesses and the Company’s various streaming services, the DEEP&T segment aligns technology, content, and distribution platforms to expand the Company’s global footprint and deliver world-class, personalized entertainment experiences to consumers around the world. Our employees are leading, creating, innovating, and making bold moves in unexpected directions that redefine not just what a mass media entertainment company does, but what it can do.

DEEP&T encompasses leading premium streaming services, offering live and on-demand TV and movies, with and without commercials, both in and outside the home. Operating at the intersection of entertainment and technology, DEEP&T has a unique opportunity to be the number one choice for TV. We captivate and connect viewers with the stories they love, and we’re looking for people who are passionate about redefining TV through innovation, unconventional thinking, and embracing fun. Join us and see what DEEP&T life is all about.

We strive to be a diverse team, passionate about great technology applied creatively to solve complex business problems. We are a motivated team that is committed to lifelong learning and improving, both in and out of the office. We strive to be flexible and adaptable to change both in how we execute projects, and, in the technologies, we use to deliver our solutions. We care about the details because every pixel, every line of code, and every user interaction with our products determines whether we are delivering on our commitment to producing the very best products possible. You’ll be joining a talented team that works interdependently toward aggressive goals to deliver technically sound solutions. We work to ensure that we share both accountability and credit as a team. We often include our users as part of our team and we work to connect with them on a human level, understanding their world, so we can deliver software that they love to use.

The DEEP&T Productivity Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer who has a true passion for using software engineering to build quality into software applications. This engineer will help us develop tools and write tests that support a large variety of Disney software products on web, mobile, and OTT platforms. Just some of the exciting products we work on include the websites & mobile apps for ESPN & ESPN Fantasy, ABC / ABC News, Disney+, Star+ and Hulu, National Geographic and Marvel Unlimited!
