Allegria Village, a senior living community located in Dearborn, is currently hiring for a part-time shuttle bus driver who must be willing to work on-call as needed.
The need to work weekends is also a requirement for this position.
Overview : Responsible for ensuring the safe passage of the residents in our Senior Living Community.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Transporting residents to scheduled appointments (doctor's) and recreational activities (shopping trips, casino trips, etc...).
2. Coordinates usage of all company - owned vehicles.
3. Prepares vehicles for usage and keeps vehicles neat, clean and organized.
4. Logs and tracks vehicle usage.
5. Assisting residents (and their packages) in and out of vehicles. Previous history of using a lift to assist residents with a wheelchair in and out of vehicle is a plus!
6. Completion of incident reports regarding mechanical failure or driver error.
7. Maintain community and departmen tal philosophy and mission statement.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience : High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum two years in transportation services required. Chauffeurs License required. One to three years of customer service experience needed.
License, Certificates, Registration : Current and valid C hauffeurs lic ense. Requires current and valid driver’s license.
