Key Responsibilities:
Manage 100-150 cases while ensuring top-tier legal representation.
Represent clients in removal defense proceedings (42B Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, Bond Hearings).
Handle family-based immigration matters (I-130, Adjustment of Status, K-1 Fiancé Visas, Consular Processing).
Oversee humanitarian applications (U Visa, SIJ, VAWA, I-601A waivers).
Independently litigate cases in Immigration Court, including Master Calendar and Individual Hearings (currently 2-3 trials per month).
Draft and oversee motions, appeals, waivers, and complex legal filings.
Conduct bond hearings and USCIS interviews.
Develop and implement case management systems to optimize efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and supervise paralegals and legal assistants.
Generate new client cases and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications:
Licensed attorney in good standing with the Georgia Bar (or eligible for waiver).
5-10 years of immigration law experience, with a strong focus on EOIR and removal defense.
Proven experience successfully litigating and winning immigration cases.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and manage a legal team.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required; Portuguese or other languages are a bonus.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to self-manage in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
