Job Description

The Salesforce Developer position will work within a team of Salesforce Developers, Salesforce Admins, Configuration Managers, and various organizational units. This position will be responsible for the technical aspects of Salesforce, including data migration/integration, data quality, systems integration, and custom code.

• Must work on-site in Annapolis, MD .   Initial one week fully onsite training period. A  Hybrid schedule may be available after the initial training period, but a regular weekly onsite presence of at least 3 days per week is required.
• Flexible Daily Start Time Available
• Must be a US Citizen (Contract Requirement)

Salesforce Developer Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Technical implementation of Salesforce permission sets, data flows, APEX custom coding.
• Responsible for developing in Visualforce, APEX, and other technologies to build custom code to build a student information system in a higher education and military environment.
• Technical leadership, following best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
• Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
• Following standards and policies set forth within the Information Technology Services Division (ITSD).

Skills Required (Salesforce Developer)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field is preferred.
• 4+ years previous development experience with Salesforce (Certified Salesforce Developer preferred).
• Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
• Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong understanding of Oracle relational databases.
• Demonstrative success with multiple Salesforce migration/integration projects.
• Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both customers, leadership, and technical teams.

The wage range for this role factors the wide range of issues that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to training, experience, certifications, licenses, and other organizational and business needs. At Coleman, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119609 to $146521.

You may also be eligible to participate in a Coleman discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Salesforce Developer Schedule:

• Onsite Annapolis Maryland (Eligible for a Hybrid Schedule - 2 days remote and 3 days onsite per week after a one week fully onsite training period)
• Flexible Daily Start Time Available
• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
