Patent Litigation Attorney

Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an AM Law 100 firm that represents clients at the forefront of technological advancements, ranging from aviation to artificial intelligence, and possesses a thorough understanding of their industries and evolving needs. With 21 offices across the United States, Asia, and Europe, and a global network of legal partners, we are searching for a mid-level attorney with a background in Patent Litigation.

DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:

Our client’s top-tier patent litigation team has 120+ litigators, over 80% with technical degrees, and a team of former Federal Circuit clerks, USPTO counsel, and PTAB judges. They dominate in jury trials, PTAB proceedings, and ITC cases, winning in Texas, California, and Delaware courts. Clients range from Fortune 500s to startups, handling Patent trials & appeals, Post-grant proceedings, Hatch-Waxman litigation, ITC Section 337 investigations. This position is ideal for litigators seeking high-stakes, tech-driven cases with a firm that defines patent trial excellence.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking midlevel patent litigation associates (3–6 years of experience) to join our top-tier patent litigation group. Candidates with technical degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields are preferred. This is an opportunity to represent global innovators in complex patent disputes involving emerging technologies, software, and hardware.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 - 6 years of experience litigating patent disputes.
• Experience handling all phases of patent litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Excellent academic credentials, legal writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Active NY Bar membership
• Strong litigation skills in district courts, PTAB, and ITC Proceedings
• A technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields is preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $260,000 - $390,000
