- Comprehensive Exercise Rehabilitation (Focusing on Aerobic and Weight|Strength Conditioning)

Board-Certified Physiatrist, with options for full-time or part-time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations for patients requiring physical therapy.
- Accurately diagnose pain stemming from injuries, diseases, or disabling conditions.
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans to optimize patient recovery.
- Execute advanced medical procedures, such as trigger point injections and joint injections, to alleviate pain and enhance physical function.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
- Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Oversee electrodiagnostic testing (EMG|NCV) to support accurate diagnosis.
- Provide counseling to patients and their families to facilitate necessary lifestyle adaptations.
- Order essential diagnostic tests, including X-rays, CAT scans, ultrasounds, and MRIs.
- Collaborate with specialists such as orthopedists, neurologists, and pain management experts as necessary.
- Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients readiness and suitability for rehabilitation.
- Perform periodic re-evaluations to track progress and modify treatment approaches when required.
- Prescribe and ensure proper fitting of orthotic devices when clinically indicated.
- Maintain meticulous medical records reflecting all services performed and patient advancements.
- Document ranges of motion using a handheld goniometer.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as requested for optimal patient care.
Desired Knowledge & Experience:
- Prior experience in an outpatient musculoskeletal practice is highly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various rehabilitation treatments and programs for diverse injuries.
- Proven capability in leading a team of physical therapists, assessing their performance, and ensuring relevant care.
- Demonstrated ability to provide care for patients of all ages.
- Proficiency in performing injections and managing prescriptions.
- Experience in guiding patients through effective pain management strategies.
- M.D.|D.O. required.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR).
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on patient outcomes.
- Kind and empathetic bedside manner.
- Outstanding communication skills, enabling effective patient interaction.
- Strong interpersonal skills paired with adept problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Keen understanding of the urgency surrounding patient care.
