We're looking for passionate and dedicated educators who want to make a difference in the lives of young learners! Join us as a Part-Time Math Teacher for lower elementary school students (Preschool to Kindergarten) and help nurture their love for learning in a supportive and innovative environment. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in developing critical thinking skills, strengthening logical abilities, and fostering a positive attitude towards math in young children.
What You'll Be Doing:
Teach Mathematics Virtually: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate math lessons to young learners through our online teaching platform.
Create an Interactive Learning Experience: Actively manage a classroom of up to 18 students, ensuring an engaging and supportive atmosphere.
Lesson Preparation and Delivery: Prepare lessons based on our carefully designed curriculum and teaching materials to make math both fun and accessible.
Provide Timely Feedback: Grade homework, provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress.
Flexible Work Hours: Work 20-30 hours per week, mainly during evenings and weekends, based on your availability and class schedule.
What We're Looking For:
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one) in any field, though Education, STEM, or related majors are a plus.
Teaching Experience: While prior math teaching experience isn't required, it's definitely a bonus! Experience in teaching or coaching elementary-level math competitions would be helpful.
Availability: Committed to attending training in November and teaching for at least two semesters starting in the Spring Semester (January - May). The teaching schedule is typically during weekdays in the afternoon and weekends.
Passion for Education: A deep love for teaching, a responsibility-driven attitude, and a knack for connecting with young children.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents in a supportive, encouraging way.
Compensation:
Teaching Fee: $33/hour for class time (3-7 classes per week)
Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour for prep work, grading homework, providing feedback, and communicating with parents
Retention Bonus: Targeted at 15% of total teaching fee for long-term classes

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability status.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 33.00 Per Hour
