About the Family: A busy family residing in a beautiful Upper East Side home is looking for a professional, experienced Lead Housekeeper to join their team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes great pride in maintaining a pristine and welcoming home. You will work closely with a Nanny, Driver, and junior Housekeeper to ensure the home runs smoothly, all while offering impeccable attention to detail. The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working independently, and has a friendly, calm demeanor. You should be passionate about keeping the home beautiful, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard. You will be the go-to person for housekeeping duties and will work closely with a junior team member, ensuring the home's upkeep is consistent and high-quality. A love for organization, caring for fine materials, and assisting with various household tasks will make you the perfect fit! Key Responsibilities: Daily and deep cleaning of the residence, including care for fine finishes, silver, china, crystal, and artwork Oversee and mentor a junior Housekeeper, ensuring high standards are maintained Manage household inventory, including groceries and fridge rotation Handle laundry and ironing for the household Maintain household organization and assist with various projects to improve efficiency Run errands and manage household needs as they arise Assist with the care of a friendly, well-behaved dog Assist during family events and gatherings If you like to cook, this role could include prepping a family-style dinner for the children 4 times a week Travel to the Hamptons for a month during the summer is very helpful but not required. Housing provided. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private home or luxury hospitality setting Strong knowledge of fine material care and advanced cleaning techniques Comfortable working in a busy household with children and pets Warm, personable, and professional demeanor Ability to anticipate needs and work independently while being a supportive team player Discreet and reliable with a strong sense of trustworthiness Valid driver's license required Ability to travel to the Hamptons during summer months (preferred) Schedule & Compensation: Full-time, year-round position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility Competitive hourly rate of $40 - $45+ per hour (depending on experience) Healthcare stipend provided If you are a meticulous, proactive, and dedicated professional looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic household, we would love to hear from you!
