Media Solutions is a team of passionate designers, illustrators, photographers, and videographers working to help the health sciences faculty, staff, and students visually communicate their message and capture their story. As a fee-for-service unit within the School of Medicine and Public Health, our focus is on providing innovative creative collateral solutions that support and enhance the research, instruction, communication, and clinical goals of the world-class organization that we serve. Additionally, we support the broader campus and community agencies through partnership on a range of creative projects.

This hybrid role will concentrate on Graphic Design and Illustration projects in partnership with a broad scope of clients within SMPH and various UW Madison campus entities. Your passion for original and contemporary Graphic Design/Illustration will be demonstrated in your portfolio. Your enthusiasm for design thinking and an eagerness to learn will be highlighted in your cover letter. -Consult directly with SMPH faculty and staff to better understand their communication needs. Minimum Required Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
-Minimum 3 years of client based Graphic Design and Illustration. Preferably within an agency or higher-education organization.
-Advanced knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite - mastery of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
-Ability to demonstrate and explain your established design principles and technical layout expertise using Adobe CS.
-Expertise in design project production schedule development and project budget estimation.
-Mastered proficiency in Mac OS.
