Full-Time Nanny/House Manager – Live-In or Live-Out – Middletown, MD

Pay: $62,400 to $72,800 per year
Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour
Start Date: April 2025
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Baseline 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM with flexibility to come in earlier or stay later as needed

Private Live-In Accommodation: The family offers private live-in accommodations on the third floor of their home, including a private room, kitchenette, and bathroom.

About the Family:
This family is seeking a reliable and organized full-time Nanny/Household Manager for their two boys, ages 2.5 and 4 years old. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and bring a calm, energetic, and professional approach to the role. The family is looking for someone who can create a stimulating and loving environment for the children, who both attend school part-time.

The family spends significant time in Jackson, WY, so the role will involve a split between Middletown, MD, and Jackson, WY. The family travels frequently, including vacations and business trips, and while international travel is occasional, they are looking for someone who is open to joining them on these trips. However, the expectation of travel should not be a regular part of the role beyond these instances.

Responsibilities:

Childcare:

• Provide daily care and supervision for the children
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to support their development
• Take the children to the playground, park, and other local activities
• Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups when needed
• Ensure the children’s clothing is clean and organized
• Help with meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks

Household Management:

• Assist with laundry, folding, and organizing clothing
• Light housekeeping duties: emptying the dishwasher, grocery shopping, and meal prep
• Make beds and tidy up the children’s rooms
• Care for the family’s pets (dog care included) and provide house-sitting services when the family is away and no nanny travel is required
• The family has cleaners who come once a week

Qualifications:

• Spanish-speaking is preferred, as the family would like the nanny to help teach the children Spanish
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proof of legal right to work in the U.S.
• Provide 3-5 professional references
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• The family will provide an SUV for transportation
